  • Provide strategic and operational guidance on calculation methodologies (AMP, BP, URA, ASP, Non-FAMP, FCP) and contract obligations.

  • Support pre-commercial clients in building compliant frameworks and executing all GP-related pre-launch activities.

  • Develop and present clear recommendations to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders; translate complex regulatory issues into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in recruiting by sourcing candidates, interviewing, and supporting onboarding.
  • Own quarterly SMART goals tied to practice objectives and report progress.
  • Lead internal initiatives that improve scalability (e.g. playbooks, training, IP).

People Management & Development

  • Manage the onboarding of team members and provide day‑to‑day coaching appropriate to their role level.
  • Coach team members and provide timely, actionable feedback on deliverables.
  • Develop individualized development plans and learning pathways for team members.
  • Conduct performance cycles (set goals, hold check‑ins, deliver reviews) to support growth.
  • Align staffing with project needs and individual development objectives.
  • Uphold an inclusive, feedback‑rich culture that promotes excellence.

Business Development

  • Lead pursuits within existing accounts and identify follow‑on opportunities.
  • Own the development of proposals, statements of work, and pricing with clear value stories.
  • Expand relationships with client stakeholders to drive account growth.
  • Coordinate pipeline activities with marketing and delivery leaders.
  • Forecast revenue and margin, and track progress against targets.
  • Qualify opportunities and share insights with practice leadership.

Projects & Client Management

  • Oversee work plans, budgets, and timelines to meet scope and quality standards.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Manage day‑to‑day communications and stakeholder alignment.
  • Balance hands‑on delivery with oversight to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Control scope, manage change controls, and allocate resources to achieve financial goals.
  • Deliver on commitments and continuously improve delivery practices.

Consulting Services Delivery

  • Oversee analyses, models, and insights that translate data into decisions.
  • Synthesize complex concepts into clear narratives and executive‑ready materials.
  • Architect solutions leveraging best practices, benchmarks, and the firm's intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate clinical, commercial, and access perspectives.
  • Approve recommendations and deliverables that withstand executive scrutiny.
  • Meet or exceed the agreed‑upon billable utilization target of 70%.

Industry Thought Leadership

  • Lead development of articles, blogs, webinars, or research offering differentiated perspectives.
  • Present at internal and external forums, representing the firm professionally.
  • Advance relationships with industry partners and associations to extend the firm’s reach.
  • Publish thought leadership content that aligns with practice strategy and client needs.
  • Contribute to the visibility of our intellectual property through social media, conferences, and publications.
  • Build a robust professional network that supports recruiting, business development, and insight generation.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
