About the Role

We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Director/Manager to design and execute strategic programs that guide prospects through the funnel and keep existing users engaged. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end campaigns across multiple channels (email, paid media, webinars, in-product messaging, and more). You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Sales, and Customer Success—to support demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and expansion opportunities.

An innovative mindset is highly valued: You should be eager to explore and experiment with advanced tools,, including those powered by AI, to automate and personalize marketing outreach at scale. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth environment, has a bias for action, and can deliver impactful results under tight deadlines.

What you will do

  1. Multi-Channel Campaigns
    • Own and optimize a range of digital channels (organic social, paid social,, email, etc.) to expand brand reach, generate qualified leads, and drive conversions throughout the marketing funnel.
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, paid media, webinars, in-product messaging, and other channels while continuously optimizing conversions throughout the funnel
    • Experiment with AI-based personalization and workflow automation to deliver timely, relevant experiences at scale (e.g., using clay.com, airops.com, n8n).
    • Align campaign goals with broader business objectives in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  2. Lifecycle Orchestration & Expansion
    • Develop data-driven programs to nurture prospects, accelerate pipeline, and encourage expansion within existing accounts.
    • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to coordinate cross-sell/upsell initiatives, ensure consistent messaging, and leverage AI-driven triggers.
    • Continuously refine lifecycle stages and engagement touchpoints based on analytics and feedback.
  3. Analysis & Optimization
    • Leverage analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn, 6Sense) to monitor campaign performance, uncover insights, and optimize for ROI.
    • Conduct ongoing A/B tests of messaging, audience segments, and channel mix to drive continuous improvement.
    • Present concise performance reports and recommendations to leadership, ensuring data-informed decision-making.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps and revenue goals.
    • Foster open communication and knowledge sharing across teams, driving a culture of experimentation and innovation.
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.

Must Haves

  • Multi-Channel Marketing: Demonstrated success executing campaigns across email, paid media, webinars, and other digital channels.
  • AI & Automation: Familiarity with AI-based marketing solutions and workflow tools; bonus if experienced with clay.com, airops.com, or n8n.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong ability to dive into campaign metrics, derive insights, and act swiftly on optimization opportunities.
  • Project Management: Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; skilled in balancing big-picture strategy with meticulous execution.
  • Adaptable & Innovative: Eager to think outside the box, experiment with new ideas, and iterate quickly based on results.
  • Strong Communicator: Able to articulate complex strategies clearly and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
