This role sits at the center of Coveo’s commercial operations. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Security and other cross-functional teams to support the negotiation and execution of our customer agreements, while helping develop the processes, templates and resources that enable our teams to operate effectively at scale.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of personal drive. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly motivated to learn, comfortable taking ownership of their work, and excited to build a career in a modern legal team that works closely with technology and AI.

As one of our Legal Counsel, you will:
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including AI SaaS agreements, data processing agreements and other technology contracts.
  • Lead contract negotiations directly with customers and their counsel.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, negotiation strategy and risk management.
  • Help improve and develop contract templates, playbooks, processes and documentation to support consistent and scalable contracting practices.
  • Contribute to internal training and resources for cross-functional teams.
  • Support other legal matters related to employment, corporate governance, compliance and dispute resolution as the company grows.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate with Coveo’s international customer base.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsiveness and service to internal and external clients.
  • Ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
  • Bachelor of laws (LL.B. or equivalent).

  • French language proficiency.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about technology, AI and modern legal practice.
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support legal research, drafting or workflows.
  • Strong academic credentials or demonstrated initiative through writing, research, side projects, or other self-directed learning.
