Senior Java/Python Software Engineer

Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is full-time and remote based, but must work on U.S. Eastern or Central Time working hours. Will not consider non-US based candidates.

As a Senior Java Software Developer, you are a leader by example, you are a subject matter expert, and you help lead strategic technical direction. You will get to interact with key client stakeholders on a regular basis and use your experience to prove business ROI through innovative greenfield technology solutions. Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented languages in Python (Flask/FastAPI)5+ years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience
• Full-stack enterprise Java development experience
• Experience with Git / GitHub, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven or other similar tool is preferred
• Experience with SQL, JavaScript, Angular, React, Version Control and Agile is preferred
• Desired experience with Terraform
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform preferred
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or developing applications for a major public cloud provider is a plus
• Professional experience in corporate Information Technology and/or Consulting
• Experience leading a team of Software Developers and Associate Software Developers is a plus
• Mentorship and pair programming experience
• Four-year degree or successful completion of a respected developer bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
