The Senior Ivalua Technical Consultant leads architecture, design, implementation, and technical strategy for the Ivalua Source-to-Pay platform. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Ivalua configuration and development, strong integration engineering experience, and the ability to lead complex multi-module programs across global procurement organizations. The colleague will act as the technical authority for the platform, guiding solution architecture, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Architecture and Solution Design- Own end-to-end technical architecture for Ivalua implementations and enhancements.
- Translate enterprise procurement and supply chain requirements into scalable, extensible Ivalua technical designs.
- Define platform standards, data models, interface patterns, security models, and coding guidelines.
- Perform technical impact assessments for new modules, integrations, and product upgrades.
- Lead complex configuration across modules such as Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, Invoicing, and Analytics.
- Build advanced customizations, workflows, validations, scripts, and UI components where required.
- Drive technical optimization of performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Oversee data model changes, catalog structures, forms, questionnaires, and workflow rules.
- Architect and lead integrations between Ivalua and ERP systems, middleware, APIs, and external services.
- Own interface specifications, mapping documents, sequencing logic, exception handling, and monitoring.
- Lead data migration design and execution, including transformation logic and bulk loads.
- Ensure robust integration error handling, logging, and observability.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, integrators, and QA engineers.
- Review and approve technical designs, configuration plans, test scripts, and deployment strategies.
- Drive code reviews, quality checks, peer mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
- Partner closely with procurement, finance, legal, and operations stakeholders.
- Own the overall health, stability, and technical roadmap for the Ivalua platform.
- Lead root-cause analysis, defect triage, security reviews, and performance tuning.
- Define standards for release management, regression testing, and upgrade cycles.
- Work with business owners to prioritize enhancements and refinements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Ivalua implementation experience with at least two full lifecycle deployments.
- Expertise in Ivalua technical framework including:
- Object configuration
- Data model and tables
- Workflows and approvals
- Document templates
- Forms, validations, and user permissions
- Custom scripting and UI logic
- Strong proficiency with SQL, stored procedures, ETL, and data transformation methods.
- Deep integration experience using REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, middleware, or ERP connectors.
- Strong understanding of S2P processes:
- Sourcing
- Contract lifecycle
- Supplier onboarding and risk
- Procurement workflows
- Invoicing and AP automation
- Ability to lead large, multi-module implementations and mentor cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and executive-level audiences.

This role influences global source to pay operations, impacting over all regions and supporting our global purchasing, vendor management and procurement teams.
