ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with experience in banking, preferably in the cards issuing domain, to support system transformation and process optimization initiatives. The role involves analyzing the technology landscape, assessing current vs. target operational processes, defining a target operating model, and supporting teams during system changes, including data migration and UAT preparation. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze the technology landscape to identify potential risks and recommend actions to mitigate their impact.
  • Review and assess existing operational processes and compare them with the target processes planned for the new system environment.
  • Develop a target operating model combining technical and operational aspects to support card-related processes.
  • Support operational teams in preparing for system-related changes, including data migration and process adjustments.
  • Participate in preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help assess business readiness before system go-live.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • At least 5 years of experience working with banking processes, preferably within the cards domain.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes related to card issuing.
  • Practical experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM.
  • Ability to model business processes using BPMN notation and tools such as ARIS, Signavio, Bizagi, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and formulate improvement recommendations.
  • Experience in implementation, transformation, or system migration projects.
  • Knowledge of process digitalization, automation initiatives, and RPA solutions.
  • Higher education degree (preferably in IT, finance, business, or a related field).
  • Proficiency in Polish & English (spoken and written).
