Moov is revolutionizing the way businesses integrate and use financial services. Our platform empowers developers to build, scale, and innovate faster with seamless payments and banking solutions. We believe in simplifying financial technology so businesses can focus on what matters most—growing their companies.
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be a foundational member of Moov's new mobile team and the technical owner of every iOS surface we ship, whether it is consumed by developers integrating with Moov or by the cardholders they serve. You will shape the Swift codebase from the ground up, establish the engineering patterns the rest of the team will build on, and partner closely with your Android counterpart to keep the two platforms on a shared release rhythm.
You will:
- Own Moov's iOS foundation: the public Swift SDK surface and the architecture beneath it.
- Build on modern iOS frameworks: SwiftUI, App Clips, and Swift concurrency.
- Hold a high bar for software design and attention to detail. Craft is the product.
- Establish testing, CI, and release practices that make shipping routine.
- Partner closely with server-side engineering, Product, Design, and leadership on ambiguous, early-stage work.
- Pair with your Android counterpart on product parity and a shared release rhythm.
- Work out loud, favoring transparency, and openly sharing progress with stakeholders.
- Help build the mobile team and lead iOS engineering within it. You will be part of a supportive culture where people show up for each other.
- Other duties as assigned.
You have:
- 5+ years building production iOS apps in Swift.
- Deep fluency with SwiftUI and Swift concurrency.
- Shipped code other engineers depend on: a library, SDK, or public API where backward compatibility and ergonomics mattered.
- Performance, observability, and accessibility as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
- Strong written communication, a bias to action, and a low ego about being wrong. You navigate ambiguity in the open, take feedback well, and raise the level of people around you.
- Bonus: App Clips, Tap to Pay, NFC payments, themeable design systems, or prior fintech/payments experience.

Advice:
If you are nervous about not having the right qualifications, apply anyway! We hire people, not job roles. We look for talent that will help us push boundaries, experiment, and bring in new ideas. That means caring more about qualities than qualifications.
One more thing:
Don’t go iron your clothes for your interview (do people still own irons?). We're all pretty casual here, so you can wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
Okay—last thing:
When you meet with us, have some concrete, tangible examples of when you’ve added value, improved something, created something, or done some fantastic, customer-centric work. We also want to learn about you as a person. If you want to know what it’s like working at Moov, check out stories from our employees.
PS:
Share our job roles with others! Wouldn’t it be nice to make new friends and bring over old friends? We think so.
