Core Responsibilities:
- Lead due diligence on acquisition targets and prepare clear, data-driven investment recommendations for senior leadership
- Build and maintain sophisticated Excel-based financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including revenue synergies, cost optimization, and integration scenarios
- Prepare valuation analyses (DCF, comparable transactions, precedent M&A), scenario modeling, and performance projections to support acquisition decisions and monitor portfolio performance
- Partner with the origination team to identify, evaluate, and execute on acquisition opportunities as part of our strategic roll-up initiative
- Lead deal structuring, negotiation support, and post-acquisition integration planning across multiple concurrent transactions
- Support cross-functional initiatives related to deal sourcing, underwriting, structuring, portfolio management, operations, technology, and marketing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; advanced degree encouraged
- 6+ years of investment banking, M&A, or private equity experience, with direct involvement in executing transactions from sourcing through close
- Track record in buy-side M&A with experience in roll-up strategies, consolidation plays, or multi-site acquisitions a plus
- Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis, advanced Excel-based financial modeling and enterprise valuation methodologies
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning independent deal workstreams in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
