We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior Manager of Internal & Executive Communications who knows how to connect the dots between brand, culture, and business priorities. This is a high-impact role for someone who cares deeply about company culture, storytelling, and the power of communication to drive change.
As the leader of this function, you’ll create a connection between our people and our mission, our leaders and their teams, and our company and its culture. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, shape internal narratives, and bring clarity, alignment, and energy to everything we’re building.
What You’ll Do
Internal Communications
Own the internal communications strategy and execution across key channels (intranet, company-wide updates, newsletters, all-hands meetings, etc.) to help employees feel connected and energized by the Skillsoft mission.
Own the internal comms roadmap, including calendars, campaigns, and regular moments that keep employees connected to what’s happening and why it matters.
Partner with HR and business leaders on communications around org changes, culture, and employee experience.
Develop messaging and campaigns that connect employees to company goals, priorities, and milestones
Build toolkits and guidance to drive communication consistency across functions and geographies
Track performance and engagement to improve communication effectiveness
Executive Communications
Partner with senior leaders to shape clear, authentic communications aligned with their priorities and voice.
Support presentations, internal scripts, and cross-functional narratives that help our executives lead with confidence.
Help shape executive voice and tone to reflect the company’s priorities, personality, and evolving brand.
Work with our brand and PR teams to amplify executive visibility beyond Skillsoft, turning thought leadership into a growth lever.
Requirements
8–10 years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, or strategic content roles
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and channels
Experience working directly with senior leaders and managing complex, cross-functional communications
Strong strategic instincts with the ability to execute quickly and effectively
Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Experience in SaaS, B2B, tech, or transformation-oriented organizations is a plus
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $128,000 - $165,000 annualized.
