- Manage complex suppliers and influence them to improve supply chain performance guided by Chewy's strategic objectives.
- Lead multiple, large cross-functional projects and working groups.
- Analyze multiple, large data sets to identify actionable insights that drive improvement across Chewy's broader Instock organization.
- Develop project white papers or project plans.
- Create larger written documents that require input from multiple cross-functional contributors.
- Develop scalable solutions for your business that have application across Chewy's broader Instock organization while defining new cross-functional processes.
- Influence and negotiate with others to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Effectively interact with cross- organization leadership using written and verbal communication as needed.
- Help to design, validate, and institutionalize best practices within the Instock organization.
- 10% domestic travel required.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience.
- Will accept Master's and 3 years of experience.
- Experience must include 2 years in the following: ERP experience to manage key forecast and replenishment inputs including inventory management and tracking, maintaining supplier data, order management and respective reporting;
- Sales & Operations Planning: weekly and monthly reviews on current trends, risks, long lead forecasts, promotions and strategies;
- Demand Planning including statistical modeling and data analysis to accurately forecast demand, collaborate cross-functionally, and continuously improve forecasting accuracy through scenario planning and utilizing tools;
- Translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for informed decision-making;
- Root cause analysis of large data sets using MS Excel on key performance indicators to build forecast models to improve accuracy;
- Manage relationships with vendors, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods to maintain optimal inventory levels; and
- Process Improvement: develop tools for Demand-Supply Planning, oversee implementation of tracking and Purchase Order Management systems.
- 10% domestic travel required.
