A rapidly growing SaaS provider at the forefront of e-commerce enablement is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive – Closer to join its high-performance sales team. The company builds powerful software solutions for consumer brands and retailers, helping them grow revenue, enhance customer trust, and gain actionable insights through review aggregation, AI-powered analytics, and embedded upsell tools. With clients spanning industries like electronics, beauty, home goods, and sporting equipment, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team reshaping how online retail operates in today’s digital marketplace.

This position is designed for a proven closer—someone who thrives on turning warm leads into long-term partnerships and doesn’t flinch at resurrecting cold opportunities. You’ll be stepping into a high-impact, commission-driven role with a direct influence on the company’s bottom line. Every day, you’ll engage with decision-makers at established and emerging brands, presenting cutting-edge solutions tailored to their online retail and wholesale needs. • Manage a pipeline of qualified inbound leads, conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations with speed, clarity, and strategic insight.

  • Revitalize and re-engage previously inactive leads and prospects, identifying new angles to bring them back into the sales funnel.

  • Lead persuasive sales conversations that articulate the platform’s impact on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with onboarding, marketing, and client success teams to ensure alignment and a seamless handoff after close.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all activity in the CRM, tracking lead status, pipeline velocity, and deal progression.

  • Provide feedback from prospects to help refine positioning, sales materials, and objection handling tactics.

  • Stay on top of trends in e-commerce, online retail tech, wholesale distribution, and review platforms to sharpen your industry edge.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a closing sales role, preferably in SaaS, MarTech, e-commerce platforms, or retail enablement solutions.

  • Strong understanding of the digital retail ecosystem, including direct-to-consumer channels, marketplaces (like Walmart or Amazon), and wholesale operations.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals with executive stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication skills—able to inspire trust, handle objections, and build rapport quickly with brand executives and decision-makers.

  • Highly organized and self-driven with a sharp ability to prioritize and manage multiple leads simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms.

  • Enthusiastic about working in-office full-time and being part of a tight-knit, growth-oriented team.

  • English fluency required; French language skills are a strong asset.

Compensation
:
  • Base salary of $120,000 annually, based on experience and performance history

  • 4% commission on all closed deals—uncapped earning potential

  • Full-time, in-office position located in Montreal, QC

  • Join a rapidly scaling team with long-term career growth opportunities

  • Access to leadership, mentorship, and an environment that values strong performers

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
