About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This role will support strategic HR initiatives, organizational planning, compliance, and talent management. The ideal candidate brings a depth of experience in both operational and strategic HR leadership, particularly in dynamic, growing organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee relations
- Lead and execute HR initiatives such as policy development, performance management, and DEI programming
- Review and refine HR policies, procedures, and compliance processes
- Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts for key roles
- Advise on compensation, benefits, and retention strategies
- Provide coaching to managers on best practices in leadership and people development
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases with professionalism and discretion
Contract Details:
- Estimated duration: 6 to 12 months, with possibility of extension
- Competitive hourly or project-based compensation
- Flexible working arrangements (remote with occasional on-site meetings if applicable)
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance
- Demonstrated success in both strategic HR planning and hands-on execution
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and consulting skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments is a plus
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
