Job Description SummaryAs a Senior HR Business Partner for technologists and continuous improvement practitioners in Commercial Engines & Services, Digital Technology, and Enterprise Flight Deck Operations teams you will anticipate the needs of our functions and drive innovative solutions that challenge and inspire our people to thrive in fulfilling the mission. You will serve as a primary HR advisor to the CES CIO, the DT FLIGHT DECK Leader, and the centralized FLIGHT DECK Operations Leaders helping set clear priorities and ensuring teams have the time, resources, and support they need to deliver. You will focus on driving business and functional outcomes, elevating talent and leadership, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and shaping an employee experience that attracts and retains critical digital and technical talent. This is a high-visibility, people leader role in a global, matrixed environment, ideal for an HRBP who enjoys working at the intersection of business strategy, cultural transformation, and continuous improvement. This is a people leader role, with a small team that directly supports the Sr. HRBP to serve executive CIO level internal customers in DT.
This role operates in a mixed-mode, global, and highly collaborative environment. You will balance virtual engagement with periodic in-person interactions at GE Aerospace locations to build relationships, support leadership forums, and anchor major change efforts.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CES CIO, DT FLIGHT DECK Leader, and FLIGHT DECK OPERATONS Leaders participating in leadership discussions and connecting business strategy to a clear people and organization agenda.
  • Anticipate future needs by bringing insight on digital skills, workforce trends, and external best practices to inform talent and organization decisions.
  • Anchor HR priorities in business impact, focusing on outcomes such as execution, productivity, and readiness for growth.
  • Build and sustain strong talent pipelines for critical DT roles through succession planning, talent reviews, and targeted development.
  • Coach senior leaders and people leaders to increase their effectiveness, build cohesive teams, and model our values and lean/FLIGHT DECK behaviors.
  • Identify and develop critical capabilities (digital, data, AI, solutions, product) in partnership with Talent, Learning, and business leaders.
  • Support organization design and workforce planning to ensure the right structure, skills, and locations to execute strategy at the right cost.
  • Lead and support change initiatives, including digital and operating model transformations, with thoughtful change management and communication.
  • Embed FLIGHT DECK ways of working in CES DT, in partnership with the DT Flight Deck Leader, integrating lean practices into leadership routines and people processes.
  • Shape a compelling employee experience for CES DT talent by balancing what employees give and what they receive in return.
  • Identify and reduce friction in how employees get work done, focusing on key “moments that matter” and everyday pain points.
  • Foster a healthy, inclusive culture where expectations are clear, feedback is candid, and leaders are accountable for how work gets done—not just what gets done.
  • Partner effectively with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Learning) to deliver contemporary, fit-for-purpose HR solutions.
  • Influence enterprise HR priorities by surfacing systemic talent and employee issues from CES DT and helping shape CoE roadmaps.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, integrity, and an employee advocacy mindset.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR or related experience, including substantial HR Business Partner experience.

Desired Characteristics:

  • HRBP experience in aerospace, manufacturing, technology, Lean/Continuous Improvement oriented organizations or other complex, global, and/or regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to understand and influence business or functional strategy and translate it into a focused people and organization agenda.
  • Strong track record in leadership assessment, succession planning, and building pipelines for critical roles.
  • Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, and leading or supporting transformation.
  • Comfort partnering with HR CoEs and shared services, balancing local needs with enterprise standards, and influencing cross-functional priorities.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and coaching skills; able to simplify complexity and provide candid, constructive feedback.
  • Interest and experience in lean/continuous improvement; familiarity with FLIGHT DECK or similar operating systems is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in HR, Industrial/Labor Relations, Business, or related field, and/or HR certifications (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The base pay range for this position is $158,000 - 240,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 14th, 2026.
