POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Human Resources Generalist supports organizational effectiveness by assisting in the alignment of people, processes, structure, and culture with business objectives. This role provides hands-on guidance and support to managers and employees on core HR matters, contributing to consistent, compliant, and positive employee experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Director, HR Business Partners, the Senior HR Generalist works closely with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence to support the execution of people programs and day-to-day HR activities. This role serves as a key resource to employees and managers, while developing a solid understanding of the business and supporting HRBP‑ led‑ initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manager & Employee Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for managers and employees on HR related‑ questions, concerns, and processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, policy interpretation, and employee development.
  • Support managers in addressing routine and moderately complex people matters in accordance with company policies and best practices.
  • Serve as a resource to employees to support a positive and consistent employment experience.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Provide employee relations support to assigned client groups, including coaching managers on performance concerns, corrective action, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct low to medium‑ complexity employee relations investigations, escalating higher‑ risk or complex issues to HRBP leadership as appropriate.
  • Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of HR policies and employment practices.

Talent & Workforce Support

  • Support client groups in maintaining appropriate organizational structure and staffing aligned with business needs.
  • Participate in interview processes and provide input during candidate selection as requested.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring activities and ensure alignment with role requirements, compensation guidelines, and reporting structures.
  • Assist with talent management planning efforts by supporting data gathering, coordination, and process execution.

HR Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner with HR colleagues across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and HR Operations to deliver coordinated HR support.
  • Support compliance with federal and state employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures.

Culture, Programs & Engagement

  • Support the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Assist HRBPs with change initiatives by reinforcing communications, supporting manager enablement, and helping employees navigate transitions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting managers with employee relations, performance management, and HR processes
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Ability to identify employee issues and recommend appropriate solutions within established frameworks
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and federal and state employment laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work regularly onsite at the Lewisville facility

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Certifications

  • PHR, SHRM‑CP, or similar HR certification

Experience

  • Experience in a regulated healthcare, medical device, med‑tech, or pharmaceutical environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None.
  • This position operates as an individual contributor and may provide informal guidance or project leadership without direct people management responsibilities.
