This recruiter will own the end-to-end recruiting process for mid and senior-level roles across our Sales, Revenue, and Success organizations, with occasional support for Marketing. You’ll develop sourcing strategies, build strong pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience—all while managing multiple high-priority requisitions. As a key strategic partner, you’ll collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to ensure we hire top Sales talent who will drive our mission forward.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for mid and senior positions across Sales, Success, RevOps, and Marketing

  • Source and engage Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Go-To-Market leaders who thrive in high-velocity, quota-carrying environments

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a high-quality pipeline of candidates

  • Conduct 15+ phone screens per week, driving 360+ sourcing reachouts per quarter

  • Lead structured interviews, including designing interview plans and running debriefs

  • Provide an excellent candidate experience from initial outreach through offer acceptance

  • Collaborate closely with business leaders, ensuring alignment on role requirements, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles

  • Utilize data and analytics to track progress, optimize processes, and inform decision-making

  • Support DEI efforts by creating diverse interview panels and promoting equitable hiring practices

  • Manage recruiting efforts autonomously, while following established recruiting processes

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Compensation to streamline the process and offers

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on Sales, Revenue, and GTM roles (AE, SDR, Sales Leadership, RevOps)

  • Proven experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong experience partnering with leaders at all levels, from front-line managers to VPs

  • Expertise in data-driven recruiting, leveraging analytics to shape talent strategy

  • Familiarity with sales org structures, quota-carrying roles, and product-led growth business models

  • Experience with tools like Gem and Greenhouse (or similar recruiting platforms)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to pivot quickly and manage multiple requisitions

  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience and hiring top Sales talent to drive Apollo.io's mission

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
