Sana’s vision is to make healthcare easy.

All of us can agree healthcare is simply too hard in the US. And our members feel that pain day in and day out. We aim to create an experience that simply feels easy when you need to access our healthcare system. If you need something, you know where to go to get it with care that is a click (or as few clicks as possible!) away.

What’s beautiful about a vision oriented toward “easy” is how it imparts a singular feeling. We instinctively know as humans when something is easy versus hard, even if we can’t explain why. We fight as a company to make an easy pathway available to all our members at every stage of their healthcare journey. If you feel passionate about delivering better healthcare to small businesses through a seamless care experience and affordable benefits, join us!

We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager who can harness data-driven insights and innovative strategies to drive growth, build strong broker-partner relationships, and scale our reach in the market. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, you will own our growth marketing strategy and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful campaigns from the moment of awareness through to conversion. You'll analyze data to optimize performance, allocate our growth spending wisely, and ensure a consistent brand experience across all channels. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a roll-up-your-sleeves operator who is unafraid to try something new with our go-to-market approach in a century-old industry.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel growth marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive high-quality leads, and support broker-driven sales initiatives.
  • Identify new marketing channels and tactics, test innovative growth experiments, and implement scalable processes to support rapid growth in a competitive market.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement in the marketing funnel, run A/B tests, and continuously refine campaigns across channels (e.g. paid search, social, email, collateral, SEO, webinars, in-person events, etc.) to improve conversion rates and ROI/ROAS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout Revenue, Product, Operations, and other teams to develop targeted messaging, digital assets / content and nurturing sequences that move prospects through the customer journey seamlessly.
  • Work closely with broker partners to align messaging and campaigns, ensuring our value proposition resonates with their book of business and drives mutual success.
  • Monitor and analyze key growth marketing performance metrics to inform strategy and provide regular reporting updates on what's working and what’s not working.
  • Champion the brand. Advocate for our mission both internally and externally, ensuring campaigns not only drive growth but also reinforce our commitment to making healthcare easy.

About you:

  • 3-5+ years of growth marketing experience, ideally with exposure to healthcare, insurtech, and/or experience working with brokers as a key channel partner.
  • Excel at creating innovative marketing strategies that balance creativity with a solid ROI focus. You’re not afraid to experiment and take calculated risks in pursuit of bold ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data and adjust your strategies accordingly.
  • Experience with one or more marketing automation tools, ideally with experience building out templates and campaigns from scratch
  • A natural advocate for our customers & broker partners. You're passionate about crafting easy-to-understand marketing to genuinely address their needs while ensuring a seamless, supportive experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills in person, over the phone, in writing, via email, chat, carrier pigeon, etc.
  • You are mission-driven. You care about making our healthcare system work better for people and business owners.
  • You ask questions from a place of genuine curiosity and humility.
  • You assume positive intent and meet your teammates with compassionate candor to solve problems together.
  • You remain flexible, resilient, and foster a culture of continuous learning even in the face of hardship.
  • You bring a bias for action paired with intelligent risk-taking.
  • You follow through on your commitments and foster trust with your colleagues.

Benefits:

  • Stock options in rapidly scaling startup
  • Flexible vacation
  • Medical, dental, and vision Insurance
  • 401(k) and HSA plans
  • Parental leave
  • Remote worker stipend
  • Opportunity for career growth
  • Dynamic start-up environment

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
