POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Graphic Designer brings conceptual ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling. This role requires a strategic thinker and skilled designer who can translate written or spoken ideas into impactful designs across print, digital, and video formats. From go-to-market deliverables to sales enablement tools, the Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in elevating and maintaining Cryoport Systems. brand identity across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and the full design process from concept through execution. They will balance proactive initiatives that move the brand forward with responsive design requests, ensuring creative solutions are aligned with business goals, delivered on time, and consistently high quality.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to) 

  • Conceptualize, brainstorm, and design for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, content marketing material, social media, paid media, infographics, animations, videos, presentations, signage, and marketing materials, including large scale graphics such as tradeshow booths and banners.
  • Support the Product Development Team with creating, editing, and updating product instructions, product specification sheets, and product imagery and videos.
  • Design visual and editable templates for presentations, social media, proposals, and RFPs.
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
  • Develop concepts and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
  • Transform complex information and data points into engaging infographics and visual assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand standards, accurately convey ideas, and represent Cryoport Systems effectively.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, clarify creative direction, and gather feedback throughout the design process.
  • Leverage design trends, market insights, and brand positioning to develop creative assets that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences.
  • Lead the maintenance and evolution of brand guidelines to ensure all visual communications reflect the Cryoport Systems brand identity.
  • Organize and maintain creative assets in a structured digital asset management system to ensure accessibility and version control.
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload.

  • Skilled in capturing high-quality product and lifestyle imagery that aligns with brand aesthetics
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality and consistency of deliverables
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take creative direction as well as offer design leadership
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS/BFA in graphic design or equivalent
  • 8+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with 5+ years in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences field
  • Proven experience in graphic design, photography, and video content creation with a portfolio that demonstrates creative range and technical proficiency
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Lifestyle and product photography skills are preferred
  • Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems is preferred

Compensation

Up to $110k + Stock +Benefits +401k
