Lime is looking for a strategic, analytical, and transformational Senior Global Supply Planner. Sr. Manager, Demand & Supply Planning, you'll own all aspects of optimizing and executing our spare parts supply planning function.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high growth global organization. You'll have a track record of driving supply planning transformation, excellence and scalability.  You're collaborative in nature and able to influence and drive strategic cross-functional initiatives. This is a remote position within the United States. Please note we are not hiring in San Francisco or New York for this position.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze the inventory pipeline, anticipating risks in demand / supply, and facilitate purchase plans to ensure continuity of inventory availability for all global operations

  • Manage and optimize SKU level supply plans  by product category by reviewing  qualitative and quantitative data including demand forecasts, ordering activity, safety stocks, MOQ and future growth plans

  • Prepare purchase orders based on production schedule, safety stock requirements, and inventory goals while minimizing freight and material spend

  • Work closely with Global Sourcing team and suppliers resolving invoice discrepancies, balancing production to maintain appropriate inventory stocking levels, promoting healthy turns and eliminating stagnant stock or shortages

  • Drive synchronization and communication across functional business partners and planning process owners to deliver results through the application of IBP fundamentals, tools, and methodologies (functional partners include Demand / Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Finance, Accounting, Distribution and DT)

  • Provide methodical support for life cycle modeling including new product introduction and End of Life. Support projects to smoothly transition to the new product and minimize obsolete material. Work with project teams as necessary to execute the planned transition on time.

  • Support continued integration of standard supply chain practices, metrics and reporting, special projects and business opportunities on behalf of the planning team including recommendations to improve planning metrics such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory health and EBITDA

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including experience in supply/demand planning with a consistent track record of expanded responsibilities and planning within a global organization.

  • Demonstrate a significant background in planning, materials management, supply chain related experience

  • Prior experience with ERP software, Excel and Google Sheets

  • Experience guiding and embedding IBP/S&OP best practice ways of working

  • Fluent ability in statistical and analytical modeling and capacity to present complex planning models in a clear, concise and actionable manner to non-supply chain and non-planning audiences 

  • Outstanding attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture with the ability to influence and inspire action in others

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business, or a related field.

  • Ability to travel 15% in North America and internationally

  • Demonstrate a significant background in planning, materials management, supply chain related experience

  • Prior NetSuite experience preferred
