We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong React and TypeScript expertise to join our internal game development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging modern web technologies to create engaging gaming experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your frontend development skills in the gaming space while working alongside designers, artists, and fellow engineers.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain game systems and features using React and TypeScript
Build responsive, performant user interfaces for gaming applications
Collaborate with designers and artists to implement interactive game mechanics and UI/UX elements
Optimize application performance across web and mobile platforms
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern development practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Stay current with React ecosystem developments and emerging web technologies in gaming
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
Strong expertise in modern React patterns (hooks, context, state management)
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing, and version control (Git)
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Genuine interest in game development and interactive experiences
Previous experience in game development or interactive media
Familiarity with game engines or rendering libraries (PixiJS, BabylonJS, Three.js)
Knowledge of WebGL, Canvas API, or other web graphics technologies
Experience with real-time applications, WebSockets, or multiplayer systems
Understanding of game physics, animation systems, or 2D/3D graphics
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
Mobile development experience (React Native) is a plus
