This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from CR, COL or Argentina to apply for this role.

Role summary

You will design, develop, and modernize enterprise web and desktop applications while providing technical leadership across the software development lifecycle. This role combines full-stack development, architecture, DevOps, and customer collaboration to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions using modern Microsoft and JavaScript technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web and desktop applications using .NET Core, Flask, Express.js, Angular, and Electron.
  • Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly front-end applications.
  • Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Lead technical design discussions and mentor junior developers.
  • Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  • Develop third-party integrations and ensure reliable interoperability between systems.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Support production deployments, customer implementations, and critical software releases.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps initiatives.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar to improve development efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in customer technical discussions when required.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to products and engineering practices.
Requirements – Must-haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Full Stack software development experience.
  • Strong experience with .NET Core, Flask, and Express.js.
  • Advanced experience with Angular (React experience is also valuable).
  • Experience developing desktop applications with Electron.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Experience supporting customer implementations and production environments.
  • Experience in the travel and transportation industry.
