We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js, React, TypeScript) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express, and NestJS.
- Build secure, performant, and scalable backend systems with MongoDB, Microsoft SQL, and cloud services.
- Integrate data storage solutions (e.g., blob stores, key-value stores).
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Participate in backend system design and architecture planning.
- Frontend Development:
- Develop interactive and responsive UIs using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing, user-centric applications.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Optimize frontend performance and maintainability using modern build tools like Vite.
- Cross-Functional:
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Collaborate on API design and full stack integration.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve full stack application issues.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Mandatory requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong grasp of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
- Proficiency with databases: MongoDB, Microsoft SQL, Prisma, Mongoose.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational database management, complex query writing, and optimization.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and state management.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Optional requirements:
- Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, React Query, React Hook Form.
- Experience with NestJS, Vite, Webpack, and testing tools like Jest.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and version control workflows (GitHub Flow).
- Exposure to Okta OpenID, cloud platforms, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Nx for monorepo management and scalable code architecture.
- Experience in the US Insurance domain is a strong plus.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud data platforms.
