WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a creative and innovative Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Growth Engineering team in our NYC office. This role will focus on driving rapid development - with an emphasis on implementing AI tooling into our workstreams - across our client-facing websites: braze.com, Braze Learning, and documentation. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, with excellent stakeholder management skills. They can internalize business requirements and goals in order to deliver impactful features. Lastly, you value working as part of a team, both online and in-person, to foster collaboration, mentorship and mutual learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enhancement of our client-facing websites using our tech stack, which includes Vercel, Sanity, React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
- Drive innovation by constantly experimenting with and adopting AI technologies to enhance development workflows and increase impact
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality code and products that meet business requirements and user expectations
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively, ensuring timely delivery
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong portfolio of client-facing web projects
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, with experience using Vercel and Sanity
- Strong understanding of web development best practices and design patterns
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across teams
- Experience in integrating and utilizing AI technologies within development workflows
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $149,900 and $166,500/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $166,500 and $185,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
