- Write clean, maintainable code, and review and enforce best practices in system design and coding standards.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in full-stack development.
- Expertise in building highly dynamic web applications in an agile environment.
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails apps, RESTful APIs, and real-time, location-based systems.
- Solid understanding of both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis) databases.
- Hands-on experience with telephony apps (e.g., Twilio) is a plus.
- Experience with scalability and performance management of large-scale systems.
- Proficiency with modern tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
