This role is a global opportunity that requires a 4 hour overlap with US Mountain Time

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain our customer facing web application.
  • Work with product teams to help make lean UX decisions.
  • Own implementation of new features from frontend to backend. 
  • Build and maintain new features for our API product.
  • Build, integrate, and maintain related RESTful web services to support diverse application requirements.
  • Design and optimize relational databases, queries, and data structures using PSQL and other No-SQL data stores. 
  • Contribute to our worker services responsible for processing billions of events monthly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, build and deploy new features in AWS and other cloud providers we utilize.
  • Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems for performance and security.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development using languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, Typescript, React, HTML, and MySQL.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing application architectures that are highly scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, including design, querying, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with task queue technologies such as Celery and familiarity with scalable distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge with no-sql databases such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for building search functionalities.
  • Good UI/UX skills, able to call out improvements in product.
