First Connect Insurance Services is a digital marketplace providing independent insurance agents access to top US carriers and the optionality necessary to grow their businesses. Agents can work with 130+ carriers, selling various insurance policies, including home, auto, small business, and more. We’re on a mission to overhaul the technology agents have access to, putting consumer-grade software at their fingertips. We’ve got thousands of active agents with hundreds joining monthly, and we plan to accelerate our growth.
Role Overview:The platform's standout feature is a robust comparative rater that lets insurance agents input data just once to generate multiple insurance quotes for their clients. FC aims to continually expand its network of insurance providers by integrating more companies via APIs, making it easy to access a wide range of insurance products.
In this role, you will own this area, making FC’s rater the best in class in terms of user experience, speed, accuracy, and costs. You will own the underlying integrations, interview our users to understand their needs, then work closely with our product, design, and business teams, as well as the carriers themselves, to prioritize, build, and monitor this product suite. So if you're a Senior Full Stack Engineer looking to shake things up and have a good time while you're at it, you've come to the right place. 🚀

- Location: Based in Poland
- Interest in mentoring others and stepping into a lead role
- Experience with NestJS and service-oriented and event-driven architectures
