We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team with at least 4+ hours of overlap with EST working hours. You’ll work closely with clients, in-house backend developers, as well as front-end engineers from Altamira. This is a long-term opportunity that starts with an exciting initial project and will be followed by future initiatives in our Finance, Implementation, and Contracting domainss. Our client is a comprehensive, cloud-hosted platform in the Health Care domain for assisted living and long-term care facilities in the U.S. It connects insurance companies and medical providers, streamlining workflows across finance, operations, and patient care.

The platform is composed of two main parts:

  • Finance Project — focuses on financial workflows.
    • Frontend tech: React, Material-UI, Redux, Axios, ag-grid.
  • Implementation Project — focuses on onboarding and operational processes.
    • Frontend tech: React (v18), TypeScript, Redux, RTK Query, ag-grid, Material-UI, React Hook Form.

Backend is maintained by the client’s in-house team and may involve Python, Java, C#, and Node.js. One Node.js project is directly integrated with Altamira’s work—this is the area where the new hire will contribute most.

Responsabilities
  • Develop full-stack solutions with a stronger focus on backend (Node.js, SQL Server, Prisma ORM).

  • Build robust front-end components using React.js and TypeScript.

  • Design and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to support pre-sales efforts.

  • Deliver scalable, maintainable software aligned with Agile and Lean methodologies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define architecture.

  • Conducted technical audits and contributed to code quality and standardization.

  • Optionally: mentor junior developers and participate in interviews or team evaluations.

Requirments
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.

  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, design principles, and architectural patterns.

  • Proven experience in unit testing, code design, and configuration management.

  • Strong communication skills and Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher English level.

  • Ability to take ownership and deliver independently in a remote team.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with SQL Server and Prisma ORM.

  • Prior work on full-stack projects with backend-heavy architecture.

  • Experience in mentoring or supporting teammates.
