About Grafton Sciences
We’re building physical general intelligence — autonomous systems that can experiment, reason, and discover in the physical world. With deep technical roots and real-world progress at scale (e.g., a $42M NIH project), we’re pushing the frontier of physical AI. Joining us means inventing from first principles, owning real systems end-to-end, and helping build a capability the world has never had before.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the interactive tools, visualizations, and operator-facing interfaces that expose the inner workings of autonomous engineering systems. You’ll develop session replay tools, visualizations, labeling and feedback UIs, and analytics dashboards that support evaluation, debugging, and system understanding. This is a role for someone who loves turning complex system behavior into intuitive, high-compression interfaces.
Responsibilities
• Build interactive UIs in React/D3 for session replay, visualization, and tool-use introspection.
• Develop labeling, feedback, and counterfactual-editing interfaces supporting SFT, RL, and evaluation pipelines.
• Implement dashboards, metrics surfaces, and experiment browsers for engineering, ML, and systems teams.
• Work closely with data infrastructure, agent systems, and systems architecture teams to visualize complex, real-time information.
Qualifications
• Strong experience with modern frontend development (React, TypeScript) and data visualization (D3 or similar).
• Ability to design clean, intuitive UIs that reflect complex system behavior and high-dimensional data.
• Familiarity with real-time data, telemetry, or visualization of structured system logs is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with ML, systems, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
Above all, we look for candidates who can demonstrate world-class excellence.
Compensation
We offer competitive salary, meaningful equity, and benefits.
