Full-time / Onsite (5 days/week)
In this role you’ll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class web and mobile experience for providers, clinicians, and the many teams who rely on our platform every day to care for patients. You’ll play a central role in evolving our provider-facing systems by building highly interactive components that support real-time data and scalable workflows, while ensuring our applications remain secure.
You’ll work on initiatives that transform how providers operate: designing intuitive interfaces for complex clinical decision-making, building engaging ways for patients and clinicians to connect, and developing in-house solutions that replace or surpass off-the-shelf tools. Your work will touch everything from modern scheduling and claims experiences to new forms of telehealth integration, automation, and data-driven insights. You’ll help bring practical AI into our products, simplifying routine processes so providers can focus on what matters most: patient care.
This is a role for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments: someone excited to collaborate deeply across disciplines, but also capable of quickly leading and delivering impactful projects with autonomy. You’ll be shaping the technical and user experience foundations of a healthcare platform designed to scale rapidly across specialties, integrate with emerging technologies, and reimagine how providers deliver care.
What You’ll DoLead the development, optimization and expansion of our web and/or mobile applications. (React, TypeScript, Redux)
Drive best practices in performance, security, and scalability as we scale rapidly over the next 6/12 months.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
Own key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and elevating front-end excellence across the company.
Work hands-on with modern front-end tooling, component-driven architecture, and state management solutions.
Optimize real-time interactions between patients, providers and pharmacies with a focus on accessibility and usability.
Influence engineering culture, fostering innovation, and technical ownership within the team.
7+ years of front-end development experience, with deep expertise in React.
Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of modern front-end tooling. (TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines)
Expertise in state management strategies and optimizing complex UX interactions in data heavy applications.
A collaborative leader who communicates openly, drives alignment, and brings energy to the team.
Contributes to big decisions while keeping a low-ego focus on what’s best for the group and the mission.

Bonus: Experience with real-time data, HIPAA compliance, or healthcare-related applications.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.

Mochi Health is an in-person company based in San Francisco, CA. Our team works together in person five days a week to foster collaboration, innovation, and strong connections. We believe that face-to-face interaction builds a culture of excellence and allows us to deliver the best outcomes for the patients and providers we serve.
For office-based roles, the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Actual hours may vary depending on business needs and role responsibilities. All employees receive meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
For designated remote roles, this in-person policy does not apply.
