At KUBRA, we’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic development team and take the lead in creating intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces.
In this role, you'll architect and develop large-scale client-side applications from the ground up using modern front-end technologies. You’ll apply industry best practices, design patterns, and robust development principles — with a focus on ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 — to build digital solutions that serve millions of users across North America.
This is a hybrid opportunity in Mississauga, ON.
What you get to do every day!
- Build large client-side web applications using standard software patterns and best practices, with an emphasis on ReactJS
- Architect project workflows in ReactJS
- Work on a large application entirely in ReactJS with Typescript
- Support existing JavaScript code bases with bug fixes or enhancements
- Work collaboratively with backend developers and other engineers to ensure functionality is available to implement the front end
- Plan, balance, and participate in sprints containing bug fixes, feature requests, and new product development
- Help train and mentor new Front End Developers
What kind of person should you be?
- Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Work Experience Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience working with ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience leading projects
- Experience in handling production support issues
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
- Experience documenting software applications
What skills do you need?
- Understanding of how to write complicated JavaScript applications that are maintainable and flexible
- Strong knowledge of the latest standards and techniques of HTML and CSS
- React and Redux knowledge required
- Experience with CSS preprocessors
- Webpack experience preferred
- Experience writing Javascript tests and experience with Javascript testing Frameworks
- Experience with TypeScript is preferred
- Experience with a cloud provider (AWS preferred)
