Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Lead : Accounting

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Lead provides financial reporting, audit, tax and regulatory filing supports for the department.

Additionally:

• Works closely with other members of the Accounting and Finance Team.
• Knowledgeable of GAAP.
• Maintains a working knowledge of department standard operating procedures.
• Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct.
• Support the month end close consolidation process.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and packages in a consistent and timely manner.
• Perform technical accounting research and assist with memo drafting.
• Provide supports during interim and year end audits.
• Assist with drafting the annual financial statements and footnotes.
• Coordinate tax and regulatory filings (990, 5500, etc.).
• Assist with Planful maintenance and report writing.

This position also mentors and supports staff, handles high level projects, and works collaboratively with various teams/departments (i.e. Accounting, Finance).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required, in Accounting preferred.
• 3-5 years overall accounting experience, with at least 3 years in Financial Reporting capacities.
• Experience in complex close & reporting systems required.
• Hospital/healthcare experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general ledger system; Lawson/Planful experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
