Position Summary
The Sr Financial Analyst leads more complex financial analysis and strategic modeling. Partners with cross-functional teams to influence decisions. Drives continuous improvement in reporting and planning. Works independently with minimal direction. Supports complex cost and profit centers.
Position Responsibilities & Essential function
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts for multiple business units or functions.
- Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Research and communicate monthly variances to plan, forecast and prior year
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior leadership.
- Serve as a finance business partner to functional or operational teams.
- Conduct ROI and cost-benefit analyses for strategic projects.
- Drive standardization and automation of financial reports and processes.
- Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis
- Mentor and provide informal guidance to junior analysts.
- Monitor actual vs. plan performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures
- Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements
- Meet or exceed all performance expectations
Required Job Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4+ years of financial analysis experience.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to influence decisions with data-driven insights
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Strong Excel skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
- Experience with advanced analytics or data visualization.
- Smartview Experience
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
