While flexibility is key, we also value the power of in-person connection. It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom to work your way, with meaningful opportunities to connect and grow together. Spreetail is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who’s eager to make an impact and help shape the future of our business. In this role, you’ll go beyond the spreadsheets—owning our Weekly Business Reviews, driving pricing strategies, and building financial models that influence high-level decisions. You’ll partner directly with leaders across the company, develop dashboards that bring data to life, and uncover insights that drive profitability and growth. If you’re passionate about turning numbers into strategy, streamlining processes through automation, and playing a key role in a fast-moving team, this is the opportunity to take your career to the next level.

How you will achieve success:

  • Take ownership of financial planning and analysis by leading our Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), forecasting performance, and building scenario models that influence key decisions.
  • Play a critical role in our pricing strategy by analyzing discrepancies, supporting professional services quotes, and tracking SKU-level margins to drive profitability.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that shape strategy, guide investments, and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Build impactful dashboards and reporting tools that make complex data simple, actionable, and accessible for business leaders.
  • Lead the charge on process automation, streamlining reporting and analysis to create efficiency and scalability across the organization.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • Take accountability for results, make decisions that benefit the company, and communicate with trust and transparency.
  • Manage ambiguity, deliver results in a fast-paced environment, and stay focused on continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships, work cross-functionally, and present complex information clearly to influence decisions.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and a sharp eye for detail and data integrity.
  • 4–6 years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience supported by a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don't meet all the qualifications listed. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited – please apply!

What you can expect from us:
We provide the flexibility to take care of yourself. Spreetail operates in a work culture that promotes results and encourages taking time off when needed. In addition to a generous vacation policy, we also offer paid time-off for your wedding week, paid parental leave and support for parents of growing families.
• We celebrate accomplishments. Each year at Spreetail is a milestone with the opportunity to receive special gifts, swag store credit, or donations to a nonprofit of your choice. We also recognize people pursuing impacts with Spreetail Spotlight Awards.
• We care about your Health & Wellness. Spreetail works hard to enhance the employee experience through benefit programs and perks that provide meaningful support. We offer affordable medical, dental and vision plans with coast-to-coast coverage. We also provide free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources. Learn more about our benefits & perks package
• We create the opportunity to revolutionize your community. We encourage Spreetailers to give back and make a social impact, and we offer paid time off to do it.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
