Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a key architect of that mission—driving strategic insight, financial rigor, and operational clarity that power smarter decisions at every level of our business.

This is more than a finance role. It’s a chance to build a legacy by shaping the financial backbone of a company that's transforming healthcare. You'll work cross-functionally with leaders and innovators, digging deep into data, challenging the status quo, and uncovering the “why” behind the numbers. If you're solutions-oriented, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want to be part of a team that truly stands together to make an impact—this is your moment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the forecast – Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts with clear and compelling variance analyses across key business segments.
  • Model the future – Build and evolve dynamic financial models that support revenue growth, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive clarity from complexity – Analyze large data sets to provide meaningful insights, enabling our leadership to win the day with confidence and precision.
  • Streamline & scale – Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and enhance financial reporting processes, always looking for what’s next.
  • Be a strategic partner – Collaborate with leaders across G&A functions (Business Systems, Finance, G&A, Legal, and The People Team) to build budgets, track KPIs, and align on goals.
  • Report with purpose – Support monthly close cycles, Board presentations, investor reporting, and M&A integration efforts with accuracy and excellence.
  • Lead with curiosity – Continually question assumptions, propose improvements, and challenge how things are done in the spirit of getting after it.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, related field or equivalent
  • 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial modeling roles, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a knack for translating numbers into narratives
  • Strong understanding of Power Query and data visualization tools to build ad hoc visualizations for the Financial Leadership
  • Strong understanding of three-statement modeling and corporate financial concepts
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, stay organized, and meet deadlines under an agile environment
  • Excellent executive communication and collaboration skills— ability to manage financial requests from varying areas of the business
  • A self-starter that is solutions-driven and obsessed with detail and accuracy – you like solving complex financial problems and digging into the details

Desired Competencies

  • Experience with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, and data visualization tools
  • Exposure to financial and operational metrics

  • Understanding of cash flow modeling and leverage ratios

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
