The Senior Financial Analyst will support annual planning, forecasting, and financial reporting activities while ensuring confidential handling of data and participating in ad hoc projects.
About the Opportunity
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a thought partner for the functional leaders of the Global Shared Services organization by providing insight into operating expense and other financial indicators.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead parts of Driscoll’s Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecast and target setting efforts across all Business Units partnering with global support functions, and business unit accounting and finance teams.
- Support FP&A planning and reporting tools: perform administrative functions as needed, improve and modify the tool as needed, train and assist the users, promote acceptance and use of the system
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports for the executive team. Create new reports as needed and provide analysis of results by working with business partners.
- Assist Global Accounting in the month-end close as needed
- Assist in the annual Company Valuation process
- Perform ad hoc tasks and participate in ad hoc projects as needed
- Ensure the confidentiality of Driscoll’s financial and proprietary information and materials
- Contributes to the Business Unit’s people priorities and objectives regarding people leader effectiveness, engaged employees, and enabling others to perform.
- Domestic and international travel may be required up to 10%.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar field, MBA preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or a similar function
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance principles like discounted cash flow analysis.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to lead / coordinate cross functional and cross-cultural projects
- Self-starter; ability to function in an environment with a high level of ambiguity
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and EPM. We are currently implementing Oracle EPM to replace Oracle Hyperion for planning.

Compensation & Benefits:

The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.
Salary Range estimated for the Sr Financial Analyst: $73,813 to $110,350 USD.
