About the role:

We are seeking a seasoned and passionate Senior Financial Analyst & Team Manager to join and help lead a highly successful multifamily advisory team operating throughout California. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned real estate professional to step into a leadership role on a top team within a nationally recognized platform.

This hybrid role is ideal for a candidate who combines institutional-level underwriting and financial analysis and/or best-in-class marketing, branding, and transaction execution, with the operational mindset of a COO. You will serve as the execution engine and operational backbone of the team—driving deal flow, coordinating people and processes, and ensuring that every client experience, marketing initiative, and transaction meets the highest professional standard, exceeding client expectations. 

You will work directly with the team leader and senior brokers, acting as a trusted advisor and day-to-day operator while overseeing analysts, marketing resources, interns, and transaction workflows.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for multifamily assets, including scenario, sensitivity, and valuation analyses.

  • Underwrite properties using historical operating statements, rent rolls, budgets, leases, and financing structures.

  • Analyze market conditions, capital markets, and investor return requirements to inform pricing and strategy.

  • Review and interpret complex real estate documents including leases, loan agreements, partnership documents, and offering materials.

  • Evaluate value-creation strategies and provide actionable recommendations to ownership and clients.

  • Analyze debt structures, including prepayment penalties, yield maintenance, defeasance, and refinancing scenarios.

  • Research and interpret local and state tax regulations, reassessment triggers, and valuation methodologies.

  • Marketing, Branding & Deal Execution

  • Oversee and execute all property and team marketing initiatives from concept through delivery.

  • Lead the creation of offering memorandums, marketing highlights, pitch materials, and investor communications.

  • Manage print, digital, email, social media, signage, and web-based campaigns with consistent brand standards.

  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, designers, copywriters, and other vendors to ensure premier presentation quality.

  • Track marketing performance and ROI, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Support agent branding, campaign launches, and strategic positioning efforts.

  • Transaction Management & Closings

  • Manage transactions from Letters of Intent through escrow closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

  • Coordinate inspections, appraisals, buyer diligence, escrow timelines, and lender communications.

  • Prepare and submit contracts, disclosures, and transaction documentation in compliance with brokerage, state, and local regulations.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep transactions on track and clients informed.

  • Serve as the central communication and workflow hub between the team leader, brokers, analysts, marketing staff, and interns.

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve systems, workflows, checklists, and operating procedures to support scale.

  • Oversee CRM systems, databases, deal pipelines, marketing outreach, and transaction records.

  • Ensure quality control, consistency, and accuracy across all underwriting, marketing, and client deliverables.

  • Manage task prioritization, project flow, and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent assignments.

  • Support leadership with operational strategy, execution, and day-to-day management.

  • Lead client experience initiatives, follow-up systems, and post-closing engagement strategies.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the team leader, offering proactive insights, recommendations, and solutions.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of direct experience in commercial real estate underwriting, transaction management, or high-level marketing; multifamily experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Commissioned salespeople and analysts are highly encourage to apply .

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365; experience with InDesign / Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of real estate valuation, capital markets, debt structures, and cash-flow analysis.

  • Exceptional organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly professional, proactive, discreet, and detail oriented.

  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM platforms, transaction management software, and digital marketing tools.

  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and serve as a liaison across multiple functional teams.

  • Strong analytical rigor with high standards for data accuracy and quality control.

Area/Location Specific: Onsite - Los Angeles, CA (Brentwood)

Approximate salary range for this Role: $105,000 - $130,000 USD

Additional variable bonus participation is available and determined by experience and performance on the job.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
