Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst of 7 For All Mankind will be responsible for applying their knowledge of financial principles to partner with the retail team for Delta Galil retail divisions, including both 7 For All Mankind and Splendid. Between the two brands, Delta Galil operates 61 stores in the US and Canada. This role will be responsible for areas such as forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while directly assisting in sales and cost analysis, reviewing operational performance, and be the main Finance point of contact for all retail needs.
Responsibilities
- Create annual budgets and rolling annual forecasts at the store level
- Monitor and develop store-level KPI (ex: sales per square foot, traffic, labor productivity)
- Partner with Retail Operations to forecast and analyze labor hours and costs, and identify areas for improvement
- Partner with division heads to review past month’s sales performance and discuss future forecast in monthly conference calls.
- Track capex requests and actual build costs for new/refurbished stored
- Create monthly and quarterly Financial projection reports by store with sales, margin and expense analysis for Delta’s senior management.
- Review lease agreements and amendments, ensure accuracy of forecast
- Prepare monthly presentation documents, cost change analysis, etc.
- Other Ad-hoc analysis as required to provide relevant insight
- Compare actual financial results against previously month’s forecast and budget, and explain variances.
- Minimum 5 years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial reporting
- Must have experience in the retail/fashion space
- Strong financial modeling skills experience
- High level of proficiency in Excel; reporting tools such as PowerBI is ideal
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a matrix environment
- Team player and problem solver in a demanding deadline driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Calculated risk taker
This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office
PAY RATE: $100,000/yr-$110,000/yr
