About the Role

As our Senior Finance Associate, you will serve as a strategic partner across the Finance, Revenue, Operations, and Product teams. This is a highly visible role where you’ll deliver key financial planning and analysis efforts, support system optimization across the finance tech stack, and help inform executive-level decisions. You’ll build financial models, guide forecasting, improve data visibility, and support Ghost’s continued growth and operational scale.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Generate monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles and deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives across supply, pricing, and distribution.
  • Analyze operational data to understand cost structures, margin drivers, and levers for unit economic improvement.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Logistics teams to develop scalable financial frameworks that support business decisions.
  • Manage and enhance core finance systems including NetSuite, Ramp, HubSpot and other adjacent tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and support financial close processes by aligning upstream and downstream systems.
  • Create dashboards and executive reporting packages to enable visibility across revenue, costs, and key KPIs.
  • Identify and lead process improvements, automation efforts, and tech-enabled reporting initiatives.
  • Contribute to Finance projects, including M&A, strategic partnerships, new business lines, and fundraising support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or finance at a fast-paced startup.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, SaaS or marketplace metrics, and core accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with SQL, NetSuite or similar tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A systems-thinker who can translate ambiguity into structured analysis and clear recommendations.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, yet able to prioritize and move fast.
  • Experience working in or alongside e-commerce, retail, or logistics businesses is preferred.
  • This position will work on-site in our Los Angeles office or NYC office. 

Our total compensation for this position can range from $120,000 - $150,000. The actual amounts may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position.
