Key Responsibilities: Elevating Executive Talent Acquisition

As the dedicated Senior Executive Recruiter, you will own the full lifecycle executive search for critical leadership roles—sourcing, engaging, and securing both internal and external executive talent—while acting as a strategic Talent Partner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Full-Cycle Executive Search Management: Own and execute complex, high-priority searches (including Executive Search Strategy development, candidate profiling, market mapping, and successful close).

  • Strategic Sourcing & Engagement: Utilize advanced Direct Sourcing methodologies, competitive intelligence, and networking to identify and engage passive, top-tier executive talent.

  • Strategic Talent Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to C-suite and Senior Executive Leadership, collaborating closely with People Business Partners, Compensation, and Finance to align resources and develop sophisticated, data-driven strategies necessary to secure top executive talent.

  • Executive Assessment & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough, competency-based interviews and assessments to evaluate a candidate's experience, potential, and cultural alignment with Workiva’s values.

  • Offer Negotiation & Closing: Lead the strategic negotiation and closure of executive offers, crafting compelling and intricate compensation and equity structures necessary to acquire top-tier leadership.

  • Market Intelligence & SEO Keyword Integration: Maintain deep, continuous knowledge of the executive talent landscape, Talent Mapping, competitor activity, and Executive Compensation trends.

  • Candidate Experience & Employer Branding: Deliver a world-class, confidential, and professional experience for every executive candidate, serving as a primary steward of the Workiva Employer Brand and Value Proposition.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on executive-level recruiting (Sr. Director, VP+).

  • Experience supporting executive-level recruiting for GTM (Go-To-Market) roles including Sales, Channel/Partnership, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success/Experience

  • Experience supporting executive-level recruiting for Finance, Legal, HR, Learning & Development, and IT roles.

  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle executive searches (from hiring strategy to closing).

  • Direct recruiting experience within the SaaS, FinTech, or Enterprise Software industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Global Executive Recruiting across different regions (EMEA, APAC).

  • Strong proficiency in executive compensation, benefits, and Equity Structures.

  • Proven success in recruiting leaders for the following teams: Product and User Experience (UX), Engineering, and Technology.

  • Mastery of recruiting tools (e.g. Gem, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter) and the ability to leverage Recruiting Analytics for strategic decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and presentation skills required to articulate Workiva's mission and Value Proposition to senior candidates.

Travel Requirement & Working Conditions

  • Up to 10% of travel for team meetings.

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office.

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $106,000.00 - $172,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
