At Relativity Space, we have two audacious goals: to build the next great commercial launch company with Terran R and to become America's leading force in additive manufacturing innovation. Both contribute to our long-term vision of creating humanity’s industrial base on Mars, paving the way for interplanetary life to expand the possibilities of the human experience. This journey begins right here on Earth – where we design, build, and fly rockets to deliver customer payloads to orbit. Terran R, our medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket, fulfills the growing demand for launch capacity, thanks to our iterative approach that accelerates design, testing, and development while minimizing costs. While our groundbreaking research and development in 3D printing pushes the boundaries of large-scale additive manufacturing.

Your journey with us is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to shape the future of aerospace technology, additive manufacturing, and the human experience alongside a community of passionate, creative individuals. Join us on this extraordinary journey, as we work together to transform our vision into reality.

About the Team:

As the Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and Senior Vice Chair, you will operate at the center of Relativity’s leadership and strategy. This is a highly visible, strategic, and demanding position that requires discretion, judgment, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. You will work closely with executive leadership to align priorities, streamline operations, and execute company-wide initiatives—serving as both a gatekeeper and an accelerator. The Executive Assistant will liaise closely with the CEO's family office to coordinate logistics, streamline communication, and ensure alignment on priorities. They will proactively identify opportunities to offer support and help remove bottlenecks that could impact efficiency or progress.

This role blends high-level administrative support with strategic operational oversight, ensuring the CEO and Senior Vice Chair can focus on high-impact work while you anticipate needs, manage critical communications, and coordinate across departments and external stakeholders. You'll also help lead a culture of excellence and efficiency within the Executive Assistant (EA) team, ensuring executive support is consistently world-class.

About the Role:

  • Executive Support; manage complex calendars and prioritize meetings based on strategic objectives, and draft and manage high-level communications on behalf of executives (emails, briefings, agendas), serving as the primary point of contact and liaison between the CEO/Senior Vice Chair and internal/external stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute leadership offsites, internal events, board meetings, investor meetings, and VVIP tours
  • Strategic Operations; help align executive schedules with organizational priorities and key initiatives, support implementation of cross-functional executive decisions and initiatives, anticipate and proactively solving logistical or operational issues, and partner with leadership to track and follow up on action items from meetings and projects
  • Administrative Excellence; lead and model best practices in executive support, calendaring, information flow, and knowledge management, coordinating briefing materials and prep for key meetings, speeches, and engagements, and improving systems, workflows, and tools to drive efficiency across the executive office
  • Team & Culture Leadership; coach and mentor existing employees to elevate team performance and ensure alignment with the high standards expected by executive leadership, including on briefings, execution plans, and fostering a community of ownership—minimizing the need for executive oversight and rework.
  • Create consistency and high service quality across the EA function and act as a culture carrier within the executive office—bringing positivity, discretion, and collaboration to all interactions

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally in high-growth or high-intensity environments
  • Exceptional judgment, professionalism, and discretion
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with precision and poise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience leading or mentoring administrative staff is a plus
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree or certifications in business or project management a plus

Nice to haves but not required:

  • A "no task too big or small" mindset, with a proactive, thoughtful approach to problem-solving
  • A passion for mission-driven work and operating in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • An ability to work independently while staying connected to a broader team
  • A sense of humor, humility, and focus on excellence

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
