The Senior Event Marketing Manager oversees strategic planning and execution of corporate events, collaborates across departments, and manages event budgets while measuring their impact on business objectives.
Events Marketing Managers are responsible for the strategic planning and execution of corporate and sponsored events and assist with internal meetings, such as Sales or Marketing Kickoffs. They partner across marketing and other departments to ensure events are in-brand and in alignment with business objectives. What You'll Do!
- Partner with demand gen marketing team, BDRs, Sales, and broader Marketing counterparts to build an integrated field events plan to drive pipeline generation and brand awareness.
- Cross-collaborate with supporting marketing functions including creative, demand, communications, and web to execute the overall events strategy.
- Lead and oversee execution of virtual and in-person field events, including tradeshows, industry, and partner events globally.
- Manage the field events calendar; proactively review existing events and identify additional industry tradeshows, events, and sponsorship opportunities that will impact pipeline and brand awareness.
- Develop creative ideas to expand brand recognition and drive interaction at events, including design elements, activities, and more.
- Develop and implement new processes that drive event success.
- Manage and track events budget and spend.
- Measure and report on event-generated and influenced pipeline building activities to understand contribution to pipeline health and evaluate marketing effectiveness/return on investment.
- Manage branded company swag strategy, including sourcing, distribution, and storage.
What We Are Looking For
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of proven experience in a B2B marketing and events role
- Analytical, data-driven mindset to develop plans aligned with company objectives and pipeline goals.
- Experience in developing and executing integrated event strategies in collaboration with various teams.
- Experience in tracking event contribution to pipeline health and reporting on ROI.
- Experience building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives at once.
- Process-oriented.
- Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to think “out of the box.”
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel 35%-50% (aligned with all current safety protocols).
- Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
