You will need to live within commuting distance to our 6001 Oak Canyon STE 100, Irvine, CA office.
You will need to be in the office 5 days a week.
What you Will Do
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams to drive project success with minimal supervision.
- Support product launches and the qualification of new materials.
- Work in pre-clinical environments alongside physicians and surgeons to facilitate product development and evaluation.
- Lead verification and validation activities for new product development, specifically for PE thrombectomy devices.
- Apply fundamental and advanced engineering principles to solve complex problems; develop and prototype solutions to demonstrate proof of concept.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of product use, clinical procedures, customer needs, and design inputs to guide development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and design control processes, including risk management and quality system procedures.
- Independently create and refine engineering documentation, including Design History Files, while managing priorities and ownership of complex tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related discipline).
- 4+ years of experience.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in new product development processes.
- Proficiency in design and concept generation using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
$102,700 - $171,100 USD Annual
