This Senior Mechanical Engineer will manage and complete task work for various engineering disciplines as well as manage and develop automated workflows utilizing Smartsheet. As a Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the onsite engineering teams with the completion of engineering and quality related tasks. You will follow best practices and Engineering Standards to complete engineering and quality tasks. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MMM’s growth and innovation.

Mandatory Skills:

·        4+ years’ experience in developing validation documentation as required (e.g. plans, protocols, reports, procedures) to validate equipment, facility, products, and support supplier validations as needed.

  • 3+ years & Expertise in Minitab & ERP systems.

  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in using statistical tools to analyse data, make recommendations and improve process capability

  • Capability analysis

  • Planned scrap management and scrap monitoring

  • Monthly reporting data processing

    Desired Skills:

    §  Develop, review, and maintain validation documentation (plans, protocols, reports, procedures) for equipment, facility, and product validation, including supplier support; familiar with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports.

    §  Create and maintain inspection plans, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process documentation for new and existing products; support new product launches for contract manufacturing.

    §  Review and interpret engineering drawings, models, and production fixtures using SolidWorks and related tools; support engineering, manufacturing, and automation requirements.

    §  Develop software-driven workflows and utilize digital tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, ERP systems, and Microsoft applications to manage change control and automate manual processes.

    §  Manage databases such as the product contact material CAS database; ensure data accuracy and compliance.

    §  Demonstrate proficiency in engineering and quality principles, including GD&T, MSA/Gage R&R, capability studies, and use of statistical tools like Minitab.

    §  Collaborate with Estimators to produce customer product quotes and project documentation as needed.

    §  Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering skill development in process engineering, problem-solving, and quality systems.

    §  Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills; effectively communicate technical information and adapt to changing business priorities while working independently or leading teams.

  • Required Qualifications

    • Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, (or equivalent work experience) with 4 -6 Years (Min 3 Yrs exp in projects working with US businesses)

    • A seasoned, result-oriented engineer who can work independently once given direction, has good rapport with coworkers, can listen, be creative, and is detailed oriented.

    • Highly articulate in verbal and written communications using the English language

    • Maintains a good attitude, persistence, and drive focused on finding a way to accomplish the objectives. 

    • Willing to travel within or outside India as and when needed (about 5% of travelling per year)

  • Ready B1/B2 VISA for USA is a must
