You'll Get To:
- Apply your experience in accounting and finance, BlackLine products, and instructional design to create content through all project phases: planning, design, development, and delivery.
- Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact training programs focused on BlackLine solutions
- Applying advanced instructional techniques, and adapting content for diverse audiences.
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent training initiatives, ensuring they are completed effectively and achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor and manage training program performance, learner engagement, and key metrics related to training effectiveness.
- Serve as an expert in instructional design, training methodologies, and enablement best practices.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and learner-focused culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure training programs align with product updates and business goals.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements, tools, and templates to increase the efficiency and quality of training.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring training needs are met and expectations are managed effectively.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to shared knowledge or internal frameworks.
- Manage cross-functional projects with clear milestones, communication, and outcomes.
- Apply deep product knowledge to develop role-specific and customer-relevant training.
- Communicate with influence, sharing risks, insights, and results with clarity.
- Balance tactical execution with strategic thinking in curriculum and delivery decisions.
- Adjust content and facilitation style based on data, learner feedback, and business context.
What You'll Bring:
- Accounting/financial background or understanding of these concepts
- Proficiency in more than one BlackLine product, with a solid understanding of how and why these products exist and their value proposition.
- 4-6 years of experience in training delivery, instructional design, or enablement roles.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering high-impact training programs.
- Proficient with instructional design models and course development tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Camtasia).
- Skilled in engaging live and virtual facilitation, with the ability to adapt in real time.
- Experienced in managing cross-functional enablement projects from start to finish.
- Deep working knowledge of products and their value in real-world use cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across teams and leadership.
- Competency in leveraging learner analytics and feedback to iterate learning design.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage effectively with senior executives, clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and customer orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
