We are seeking an experienced Senior Employment & Corporate Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This role will support the Company’s employment counsel in managing employment-related disputes, discovery, and internal investigations. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation and project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal counsel in all aspects of employment litigation, including single-plaintiff lawsuits, administrative charges, and pre-litigation disputes.
  • Coordinate and manage responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and legal holds.
  • Conduct legal and factual research for jurisdiction-specific regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal investigation materials, interview summaries, and reports.
  • Liaise with HR, compliance, and business teams to gather facts and documentation.
  • Maintaining global subsidiary records and minute books, preparing board resolutions and secretary certificates.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and organize large global projects.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses using our internal systems and platforms.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employment matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Approximately 80% of time on employment and litigation related legal work and 20% on general corporate legal support, including global subsidiary maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of paralegal experience, with a focus on employment or labor litigation; in-house or law firm experience accepted.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and litigation processes.
  • Experience with e-discovery tools and litigation and corporate management platforms (e.g., SimpleLegal, Logikcull, Diligent or similar platforms).
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved preferred).
  • Prior in-house experience supporting employment counsel.
  • Prior experience working with a global workforce.
  • Experience supporting compliance or internal investigations.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.

Compensation

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

 

The annual compensation range for this role in California is $106,000 - $121,200.

 

In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
