  • Lead executive business reviews, QBRs, planning sessions, and escalation discussions with AWS stakeholders to align on strategy, pipeline, program performance, and priorities.
  • Create clear governance, planning, and operating models that improve alignment, accountability, and execution across internal teams and AWS stakeholders.
  • Lead complex, multi-party deal orchestration across Precisely, AWS, channel partners, marketplace operations, sales, renewals, and customer stakeholders including AWS Marketplace transactions.
  • Build, maintain, and expand senior relationships across AWS partner, marketplace, industry, sales, technical, and product teams.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience developing, scaling, and managing strategic technology partnerships in the enterprise software industry.
  • 7+ years of experience negotiating, operationalizing, or executing strategic partner agreements, alliance plans, co-sell motions, and marketplace programs.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in the AWS partner ecosystem, with direct experience operating within AWS or an ISV with a mature AWS partnership.
  • Proven success influencing executive stakeholders internally and externally, including sales, product, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, legal, and hyperscaler partner teams.
  • Excellent program management, organizational, analytical, and operational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, executive presentation, and written synthesis skills.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AWS co-sell programs, AWS Marketplace, Private Offers, MPOPP, POC funding, MDF, WMP, PRM, ACE Pipeline Manager, Partner Central, and related AWS partner mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated ability to define partnership strategy, build executive alignment, and convert strategy into measurable pipeline, revenue, and program outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ when needed.

AI Skills/Knowledge:

  • Understand how AI, generative AI, and agentic AI trends influence customer data strategy, cloud modernization priorities, and hyperscaler partner motions.
  • Ability to position Precisely’s trusted, governed, contextual, and AI-ready data capabilities in partnership discussions with AWS and enterprise customers.
  • Well versed in using AI tools like Copilot for personal productivity

Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):

  • Prior experience working directly for AWS, a major hyperscaler, or an enterprise ISV with a mature cloud marketplace and co-sell motion.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
