We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of Sales to lead our sales organization across the United States. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing key client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales leadership skills, a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the US region. Lead the regional sales team in identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and closing complex, high-value deals with key accounts. Implement a structured sales process, including account planning, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the semiconductor IP and SoC market in the US, with a focus on mobile, automotive, and/or optical communications. Develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players to expand market reach, enhance product offerings, and drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners at the executive level. Deeply understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Conduct a comprehensive market analysis to identify key trends, emerging challenges, and growth opportunities in the US semiconductor IP market. Provide actionable insights to the executive team and product development, influencing product strategy and innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing sales team across the US. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Implement effective training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and manage the annual sales budget, forecast revenue accurately, and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI in the US region.
- Provide regular and comprehensive reports on sales performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and business growth strategies to the executive team and board of directors. This includes a detailed analysis of sales data, pipeline management, and progress against targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and business development, with a consistent track record of success in the semiconductor or related technology industry in the US.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor IP market, including data converters, analog and mixed-signal circuits, CPU, GPU, memory, and interconnect technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams across diverse geographies within the US.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels, including C-level executives.
- Extensive network of relationships with key decision-makers at semiconductor companies, OEMs, and other relevant organizations in the US region.
- Strong understanding of different sales models, including direct sales, distribution, and channel partnerships.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating large-scale agreements.
