The Opportunity

Kinomatic is seeking a Senior Director, Revenue Operations & Sales Strategy to lead the execution, optimization, and enablement of our end-to-end revenue engine as we scale surgeon partnerships, patient engagement, and commercial growth.

This role serves as the operational leader responsible for transforming strategy into execution across the entire revenue lifecycle.

Success in this role will come from building accountability, developing leaders, driving operational excellence, and ensuring initiatives are executed consistently across teams. This is a highly analytical and data-driven leadership position focused on performance optimization, process improvement, forecasting, and organizational effectiveness. This is not a field sales role.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading multiple functions within a commercial organization, building high-performing teams, and implementing systems that improve execution, visibility, and revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

Revenue Operations & Strategy

  • Design, optimize, and oversee Kinomatic's end-to-end revenue operating system, ensuring alignment across lead generation, account onboarding, patient conversion, and account growth.
  • Develop and execute revenue strategies that improve funnel performance, operational efficiency, and business growth.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) across the commercial organization, ensuring visibility into performance and accountability at every level.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, forecasting models, and reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Analyze conversion trends, pipeline health, surgeon performance, and revenue outcomes to identify opportunities and risks.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop commercial leaders across Account Management, Inside Sales, and related revenue functions.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability measures that drive execution and results.
  • Mentor leaders on effective team management, performance coaching, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Build scalable organizational structures that support growth while maintaining operational excellence.

Execution & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary owner of commercial execution, ensuring strategic initiatives move from concept to implementation.
  • Develop and implement scalable playbooks, workflows, SOPs, and best practices that improve consistency and effectiveness across teams.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead cross-functional initiatives to remove barriers to performance.
  • Drive adoption of processes, tools, and systems that improve productivity, transparency, and execution.
  • Partner with Finance to support forecasting, capacity planning, and revenue modeling.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Patient Experience, Product, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions and operating reviews to ensure priorities remain aligned with company objectives.
  • Present strategic recommendations, business insights, and performance updates to executive leadership.
  • Act as a key change leader, driving alignment, communication, and execution across multiple departments.
Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, or commercial leadership roles.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, Business Operations, or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple functions within a commercial organization, including sales, account management, customer success, revenue operations, or enablement.
  • Proven ability to build scalable processes, systems, and operating frameworks that improve organizational performance.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills with experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with expertise in KPI development, dashboard creation, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Strong project management and execution skills with a track record of implementing complex initiatives successfully.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience creating accountability frameworks and performance management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, medical technology, SaaS, or other high-growth environments.
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C revenue models.
  • Background in Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, Customer Success Operations, or Commercial Excellence functions.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, forecasting systems, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience scaling teams and processes through periods of rapid organizational growth.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for leadership meetings, team development, business planning sessions, physician office observations, industry events, and operational reviews.

Salary Range: $175,602 – 216,893

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
