We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director, Professional Services & Cloud Transformation to build, lead, and oversee specialized a professional services team focused on among others Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data Solutions, Application Modernization, IT Optimization and Cybersecurity. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping how RapidScale delivers cutting-edge cloud transformation solutions to our customers across public, private and on-premise operations.
This role will work directly with customers in the cloud consulting and managed services space, helping them navigate complex transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that AI/ML, data strategies, modernization efforts, IT optimization and cybersecurity frameworks align with customers' business goals and technology roadmaps.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $192,800.00 - $321,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams specializing in AI/ML, Data Solutions, Application Modernization, and Cybersecurity.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Develop team capabilities to better support customer engagements and drive measurable business outcomes.
Strategic Vision & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive customer-centric strategies across AI/ML, Data Solutions, Application Modernization, and Cybersecurity.
- Align service offerings with customer needs in the cloud consulting and MSP space, ensuring seamless cloud adoption and digital transformation.
- Identify market trends, customer pain points, and emerging technologies to enhance RapidScale's service portfolio.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Consulting teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
Customer Engagement & Impact
- Act as a strategic partner to customers, helping them modernize applications, implement AI/ML models, optimize data architectures, and fortify their cloud environments with scalable security solutions.
- Work closely with cloud consulting teams to assess customer environments and design transformation and security roadmaps that deliver long-term value.
- Lead customer workshops and executive briefings to define modernization and cybersecurity strategies.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by driving successful implementations and adoption of AI, data, cybersecurity, and modernization solutions.
Service Delivery & Optimization
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, secure transformation solutions tailored to customers' business needs.
- Implement best practices for cloud-native architectures, automation, and data-driven decision-making in customer environments.
- Oversee integration of AI/ML and cybersecurity technologies into customer cloud solutions, ensuring practical and actionable business applications.
- Drive cybersecurity services including assessments, cloud-native security architecture, compliance frameworks, and incident readiness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Cloud Consulting teams to ensure seamless service offerings and execution.
- Align transformation and security services with MSP best practices, ensuring customers receive end-to-end support-from assessment to implementation and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with Cox Business Marketing and Customer Success teams to highlight case studies and success stories showcasing the impact of transformation and cybersecurity services.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay ahead of cloud transformation and cybersecurity trends, ensuring RapidScale remains a leader in AI/ML, data modernization, security, and cloud-native application strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine service offerings, customer engagement models, and delivery frameworks.
- Spearhead internal automation, AI, and security initiatives to improve RapidScale's managed services offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 12 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 10 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 7 years' experience in a related field; or 16 years' experience in a related field •
- 7+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
- 8+ years of experience in cloud transformation, consulting, professional services, or MSP leadership roles, with a demonstrated track record of leading customer-facing digital transformation initiatives focused on AI/ML, Data Solutions, Cybersecurity, and Application Modernization in a managed cloud services or consulting environment.
- Experience executing AI-driven and security-focused engagements and working with enterprise and/or mid-market customers to modernize legacy environments.
- Deep experience and understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their application in transformation and security services.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, DevOps, compliance frameworks, AI-driven automation, and data management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience executing professional services engagements in industries such as Healthcare, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, SaaS, or Retail/E-Commerce.
- Industry certifications such as:
- Cloud: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect
- Security: AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials demonstrating cybersecurity leadership in cloud environments.
