The Senior Director, Product leads product strategy and development, mentors product teams, collaborates with cross-functional departments, and communicates product vision and progress.
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to own the Billtrust Platform—the foundation that powers our entire product ecosystem. As the Platform Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless, unified onboarding and user experience for customers, whether they adopt a single product or our full suite.
What You'll Do: - Define and drive Billtrust's platform strategy, ensuring scalability, usability, and alignment with our product vision.
- Lead the UI/UX design team, championing intuitive, consistent, and accessible experiences across all touchpoints.
- Design and drive a connectivity experience, ensuring a seamless integration between our products, our ERP Partners and other, key financial systems.
- Own digital adoption strategy, leveraging tools like Pendo to guide users, surface insights, and drive engagement.
- Champion an AI first mindset, focusing on customer challenges and identifying modern solutions fit for purpose.
- Partner cross-functionally with application product leaders, engineering, sales, marketing, services and the customer organization to deliver a cohesive experience that delights users and accelerates time to value.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, with visibility across the executive team and the opportunity to shape how customers experience Billtrust at every stage of their journey
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience owning and scaling platform-level products or services across a multi-product SaaS ecosystem.
- Ability to define and execute a platform roadmap that supports both internal product teams and external customer needs.
- Strong understanding of platform architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience managing and mentoring UI/UX design teams.
- Ability to drive consistency and cohesion across product experiences.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially across product, engineering, GTM, and customer success.
- Experience aligning platform initiatives with go-to-market and customer success strategies.
- Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term delivery.
- Comfortable operating at both executive and tactical levels.
The expected base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $280,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
