LastPass is looking for a Senior Director, Product Marketing:

In this role, you will lead the product marketing team, crafting compelling messaging and positioning to support our platform evolution. This role drives the development of a cohesive go-to-market strategy, ensuring our unique value proposition is clearly communicated to the market, and aligns marketing efforts to accelerate demand, adoption, and customer success.

About the team:

The Product Marketing team at LastPass is a high-impact group responsible for bringing our evolving product portfolio to market with clarity and purpose. We own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with product management, sales, marketing, and technology partners to drive awareness, demand, and adoption across all customer segments.

Who will you work with?

You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to develop targeted messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy that drives awareness, demand, and adoption for LastPass and our evolving roadmap. You will also collaborate with industry analysts, technology partners, and sales enablement to strengthen market presence and support business growth.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Define and evolve product positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate LastPass across our multi-product platform and establish a new category in Secure Access Essentials
  • Lead the development of a highly differentiated go-to-market strategy across all sales segments, driving cross-functional planning, execution, market segmentation, and targeting
  • Partner with product management to align messaging with product capabilities and roadmap, ensuring a seamless and compelling customer experience from awareness to adoption
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and analysis to identify customer needs and emerging trends, informing product strategy and go-to-market decisions
  • Develop sales enablement playbooks, assets, and toolkits that increase sales productivity and support successful product launches and new offerings
  • Establish and track key metrics and success criteria for marketing initiatives and product performance tied to revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry analysts, influencers, and technology partners to amplify market presence and credibility
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the product marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, while serving as an industry evangelist and thought leader

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Extensive experience in product marketing in the B2B technology sector, including a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for technology products, ideally with experience in creating or defining new market categories
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and measuring marketing performance
  • Deep understanding of the B2B technology landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and shared purpose

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

US Pay Range
$200,000$260,000 USD
